School tours take place most weeks from March to November. Bookings are essential, please contact our office on (03) 8407 8099.
Our School Zone
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.
Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined based on your permanent residential address.
Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.

Enrolment
Enrolment information packs can be obtained by visiting us here at the school, downloading using the links below or by contacting our office on (03) 8407 8099.
In addition to a completed enrolment form, we require the following supporting documentation:
- Birth Certificate
- Immunisation Status Certificate or History
- Passport or Visa (for students born overseas)
- Proof of residency.
Please also ensure that all relevant information about your child’s medical, learning or developmental needs is provided at the time of enrolment.
Enrolment Process
For Foundation (Prep) enrolments for the following year, the Department of Education has released a timeline that advises families when and how to enrol their child.
Donnybrook Primary School also accepts enrolments all throughout the year for all year levels, providing you reside within our school zone. If you reside in our school zone, then your child is guaranteed a place at our school. To find out if we are your designated school, simply click on the link below and type in your address. The first named school that appears on the list is your designated school.
2. Submit an application
Download the above documents and enrolment form, complete the enrolment form and return to: Donnybrook Primary School, 145 Olivine Boulevard Donnybrook; or scan and
3. Provide documentation
We ask that the enrolment form be accompanied by a copy of your child’s birth certificate, a copy of your child’s Immunisation statement, evidence of your permanent residence and any VISA or court orders that may be pertinent to your child.
2026 Foundation (Prep) enrolments will be accepted from April 21st 2025. Prospective families are encouraged to book a tour from March 2025.
4. Offer
For Foundation (Prep) 2025 enrolments, you will be notified of the outcome of your application by Friday 9th August 2024. For all other enrolments, you will be notified within a week of lodgement of the enrolment form.
5. Information Session
For Foundation (Prep) 2025 enrolments, you will be invited to participate in information and transition sessions during Term 4, 2024.
For all other new enrolments for 2025 (grades 1 to 6), there will be a whole school orientation day in December 2024, where your child will get to meet their teacher and spend some time in their classroom for 2025.
6. Starting School 2025
All students (including Foundation) commence school on Thursday 30th January 2025.
Please note: Enrolment applications submitted after 26 July 2024 will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the Department of Education’s Placement Policy.
